F\u00f6r att uppn\u00e5 visionen om den framtida h\u00e5llbara staden kr\u00e4vs flera olika angreppss\u00e4tt. Andreas P\u00e5lsson, S\u00f6dert\u00e4ljes nya stadsarkitekt, tror att det \u00e4r viktigt att som kommun och samh\u00e4llsbyggare v\u00e5ga ta beslut som i det f\u00f6rsta skedet kan k\u00e4nnas lite tuffa.<\/p>\n
\u2013 Ist\u00e4llet f\u00f6r att arbeta kortsiktigt beh\u00f6ver vi se till det st\u00f6rre perspektivet, vilket inte bara kommer att resultera i en mer h\u00e5llbar stad utan ocks\u00e5 ett mer medm\u00e4nskligt samh\u00e4lle. Exempelvis kan inte bilen l\u00e4ngre ta det stora fysiska utrymmet i staden, ist\u00e4llet borde m\u00e4nniskan f\u00e5 ta mer plats. Det betyder att vi m\u00e5ste hitta s\u00e4tt att underl\u00e4tta livet utan bil. Bland annat genom att forts\u00e4tta att vidareutveckla kollektivtrafikn\u00e4tet och skapa olika typer av mobilitetshubbar.<\/p>\n

\u2013 F\u00f6r\u00e4ndrade livsm\u00f6nster p\u00e5verkar allt fr\u00e5n hur vi utformar v\u00e5ra arbetsplatser till vad vi st\u00e4ller f\u00f6r krav p\u00e5 vad vi vill ha i n\u00e4rheten av v\u00e5r hemmilj\u00f6. Pandemin har till exempel lett till att m\u00e5nga kontorsarbetare har m\u00f6jlighet att arbeta hemifr\u00e5n n\u00e5gon dag i veckan \u2013 och det betyder att s\u00e4ttet som vi ser p\u00e5 v\u00e5ra hem och p\u00e5 v\u00e5rt kontor har f\u00f6r\u00e4ndrats.<\/p>\n
\u2013 Vi pratar mycket om den mixade staden d\u00e4r det ovanp\u00e5 butikerna och restaurangerna finns arbetsplatser och bost\u00e4der. Det handlar om den sociala h\u00e5llbarheten och hur vi kan skapa trygga milj\u00f6er som lever fler av dygnets timmar.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Vi har KTH och Yrkesh\u00f6gskolan att tacka f\u00f6r mycket. Det erbjuds v\u00e4ldigt bra utbildningar i S\u00f6dert\u00e4lje och finns plats f\u00f6r \u00f6ver 700 studenter. Samarbetet mellan KTH, Scania, AstraZeneca och S\u00f6dert\u00e4lje Science Park \u00f6ppnar fantastiska m\u00f6jligheter f\u00f6r studenterna.<\/p>\n

Annars kan det i v\u00e4rsta fall bli s\u00e5 att medborgare flyttar och att f\u00f6retagens kunder v\u00e4ljer andra f\u00f6retag. Det har inte h\u00e4nt med S\u00f6dert\u00e4lje och v\u00e5ra f\u00f6retag, men det \u00e4r klart att det idag \u00e4r konkurrens om utbildad personal inom m\u00e5nga omr\u00e5den i Sverige.<\/p>\n
